Papers include correspondence between families and soldiers in the 2nd Regt. GA State Line Vols., the 35th and 42nd Regts. GA Vols., and Roswell Bn. GA Cav. Some cover the period of the Atlanta Campaign. The Jackson family records pick up in 1874 and contain legal documents, a civil docket book, and business correspondence. There are also letters from Thomas C. Jackson to women friends, school compositions, business records, a wide variety of letters to him (1881-1904) on a variety of amusements, and an 1883 diary by an unknown person.
